Outer–Inner Dynamics
The A–Z letters represent discrete external events generated by the outer world.
The inner ring represents the first-person self, which responds to external events selectively and somewhat whimsically, depending on its momentary internal state, attention, and mood.
Outer ring = external information stream. Inner ring = internal associative state (first-person loop).
This is not a direct model of Brownian motion, but the idea of dense transient contacts may hint at how a Cue can trigger recall in an Associatron-like associative memory (contact density rather than “dwell time”).
In nature, events can leave traces (like a fault line after an earthquake). Likewise, external events may reshape the internal landscape over time.
Control Panel
Outer/Inner rotate independently. Click near the inner ring to bias “interest” toward a letter. During Breaking news, sparks become red and burst around a center letter (±1).
Shortcuts: Space pause / R reset
Tip: To make the system “usually quiet”, lower Emission rate and Match sensitivity. To make Breaking news more dramatic, raise Big news frequency.
